The Vigil (Featuring Josh Bell)

by | Mar 19, 2021 | 0 comments

On the 174th episode of Piecing It Together, Josh Bell from Awesome Movie Year joins me for The Vigil, a horror movie that finds its inspiration not in Christian and Catholic iconography (like so many horror movies), but in Jewish imagery and a very particular (and very creepy) Jewish ceremony. Puzzle pieces include The Possession, The Exorcist, The Boy and The Evil Dead.

As always, SPOILER ALERT for The Vigil and the movies we discuss!

Director – Keith Thomas

Writer – Keith Thomas

Starring Dave Davis, Menashe Lustig, Malky Goldman, Lynn Cohen, Ronald Cohen, Fred Melamed
