Wonder Woman

Alita: Battle Angel (Featuring Millennial Mike)

On the 73rd episode of Piecing It Together, Millennial Mike from the Exiles Network joins me for an episode long in the making. Alita: Battle Angel, James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez’s manga-based epic sci-fi adventure has divided audiences ever since it came out earlier this year, but now that it’s on VOD, the two of us have a great discussion about this inventive, crazy movie that we both loved. Puzzle pieces include The Matrix, Avatar, Wonder Woman and Ex Machina.

Shazam! (Featuring Chad Clinton Freeman)

On the 56th episode of Piecing It Together, our resident DC fan Chad Clinton Freeman is back again to follow-up our Superman: The Movie discussion with an episode on DC’s newest superhero adventure, Shazam! Based on the classic story of a kid who is granted the power to turn into a superhero, it’s a complete turn to full on fun for the the DCEU. Puzzle pieces include Kick-Ass, Big, Ghostbusters and The Naked Gun.

Breaking It Apart 6 – Superman: The Movie

On the 6th episode of the special episode series called Breaking It Apart, our resident DC and Superman expert Chad Clinton Freeman joins me to discuss Superman: The Movie. Long before Chad became obsessed with Batman V Superman, the original Superman movie was part of a wave of films that basically invented what modern blockbusters would become. Puzzle pieces include Captain Marvel, Prometheus, Ghostbusters and Disaster Movies.

Captain Marvel (Featuring James Baker)

On the 52nd episode of Piecing It Together, James Baker from Pop Cult Net joins me to discuss the 21st entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel. Brie Larson stars as the bad-ass superhero with the power to finally stop the ultimate bad guy Thanos in Avengers Endgame… Coming soon to a theater near you. Puzzle pieces include Wonder Woman, Rocky, The Matrix and Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.

Overlord (Featuring Josh Bell)

On the 50th episode of Piecing It Together, Josh Bell joins me again for Overlord, one of this month’s long-lost episodes. OK it’s not that late as it only hit VOD a couple weeks ago, but the JJ Abrams produced Nazi-zombie action film which was once rumored to possibly be a Cloverfield movie is one we recorded this episode for back in November and I’m excited to finally release it. Puzzle pieces include Inglorious Basterds, Army of Darkness, Captain America: The First Avenger and Wolfenstein 3D.
