On the 101st episode of Piecing It Together, Joe Black joins me to discuss Edward Norton’s passion project, Motherless Brooklyn. A throwback film noir starring Norton as a tourette’s syndrome afflicted private detective, it’s a bit of a mixed bag… But a bag that’s more good than it’s bad. Mostly. Puzzle pieces include The Untouchables, Road To Perdition, Sin City and Live By Night.
As always, SPOILER ALERT for Motherless Brooklyn and the movies we discuss!
Writer / Director – Edward Norton
Starring Edward Norton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alec Baldwin, Bobby Cannavale, Bruce Willis, Willem Dafoe
